Oversight & KnowledgeThe big decision gets costed before it is taken.
A second site, a second shift, a new machine or a partner firm: every option is set out side by side, with the figures, the effort and the risk for each, before you sign anything.
The problem
The question of a second site has been on the agenda since last summer. At every meeting it goes round in circles for twenty minutes, then something urgent gets in the way. A year later the same question is back, except that the rent has gone up.
At some point the decision does get taken, on a Friday evening, because a unit comes free and the agent wants an answer by Monday. The sums are done afterwards, and done in a way that fits the decision already taken.
And when it goes wrong, nobody can say which assumption was the wrong one. There is nothing on paper saying what was assumed at the time. So the same mistake happens again with the next big question.
What you get
We take the figures from your books, your time sheets and your order book. If a Reporting Cockpit is already running at your end, we draw on that instead of collecting everything twice.
How it works
Capture
We gather whatever bears on the decision: your figures over three years, how busy the teams are, contracts, capacity and market data for the region.
Process
The options are worked through, each on the same assumptions, so that they stay comparable. Where a figure is missing, the estimate is shown as an estimate and not as a fact.
Deliver
You get a two-page paper, an assessment table by benefit, effort and risk, and a meeting at which we go through both with you.
Review
After the decision the assumptions stay live. Each quarter you see whether the sums still hold, and you can correct course while it is still cheap.
What it costs
Included: framing the question, pulling together your figures over three years, market data for the region, three to five options worked through, the assessment table, the decision paper, a workshop day with you, handover. The figure depends on the size of the question and the number of sites.
Included: running it, licences, a quarterly check against the assumptions, upkeep of the underlying data, analysis and support.

What you own
The paper, the costing model and every assumption sit as files in your own accounts. If you stop tomorrow, you can cost the next decision with them yourself.
We do not make you dependent on us. You are not renting a system, you are getting one.
Common questions
Is this not just management consultancy?+
The difference is what is left at the end. A consultancy job leaves a presentation behind. Here what is left is a costing model with your figures in it, which you open again at the next question. And we decide nothing: we do the sums and we write them down.
What exactly does the AI do here?+
It tidies up figures, gathers market data, works through the options and writes drafts. Every assumption is shown with its source and checked by a person before it goes into the paper. Nobody but you takes the decision.
Our figures are not to leave the company.+
They stay in your systems and on your accounts. We work with the access you give us and give it up once we have handed over. A data processing agreement comes with the job, without your having to ask for it.
There are twelve of us and we have no board. Is it worth it?+
For the question of whether a machine arrives next month, probably not. For a decision that ties you in for five years or makes the team permanently bigger, yes. We tell you where you stand in the intro call, before you pay anything.
And what if the answer is that we should do nothing?+
That is a result like any other, and it happens more often than people think. At least then the reason is there in black and white, and the question is off the table for a year or two instead of hanging over every meeting.
The decision fits on two pages.
An intro call, free and with no obligation. We take the question that has been sitting with you for months and tell you honestly whether the workshop is worth it for that question.
